Employee Service Projects

West Texas Food Bank

The West Texas Food Bank continues operating at historic levels, distributing one million pounds of food to our community each month. Recently, we partnered with this organization to help relieve hunger through our Q1 employee service event. EER employees contributed 322 hours helping the food bank with a variety of tasks in the warehouse, pantry, and garden. Warehouse volunteers boxed and bagged 23,486 pounds of dry goods, beverages, and fresh vegetables for distribution through the food bank’s drive-thru pantry, senior boxes, and partner agencies. Pantry volunteers set up tents and tables, distributed food to families during drive-thru hours, and cleaned up by moving tents, tables and food into storage facilities. Garden volunteers primed the food bank’s recently expanded garden beds that will soon grow vegetables to support our community’s need for 2.2M pounds of fresh produce this year.

“Endeavor is amazing! We are delighted to have happy volunteers back in our buildings. We can’t say thank you enough for helping us do our work. I hope your team knows how much we appreciate them and how much our clients we serve are truly grateful for everyone taking time out to help all of us. You are truly making a difference right here in West Texas.”

– Libby Campbell, West Texas Food Bank Executive Director

Every single member of the food bank staff went out of their way to thank us for helping provide 155,034 meals to those most in need during our week of service. We appreciate those who came together to support this great need in our community!
