Keep Midland Beautiful Honors Austin Underwood with Rising Star Award
The 2022 Keep Midland Beautiful (KMB) Awards Ceremony was held on Monday, May 16 at the ACM Sculpture Garden. The event annually recognizes Midlanders who have contributed exceptional community service as KMB volunteers. One of the four awards – the Rising Star Award – was given to Endeavor’s-own Austin Underwood, Senior Reservoir Engineer.
Austin was instrumental in establishing EER’s 10-acre Adopt-A-Spot near downtown Midland. He also has personally adopted and regularly cleans three acres in north Midland.
“I grew up knowing the value and personal reward of serving one’s community,” Austin noted. “We are blessed with land, and it’s our responsibility to protect and preserve it. I’m proud to see Endeavor’s strong commitment to reinvesting in and bettering our community through company-wide initiatives. It’s truly an honor to receive the Rising Star Award.”
In addition to the company’s Adopt-a-Spot, Endeavor has been a long-term supporter of KMB. The most recent EER-KMB project was Endeavor’s Recycling Program launched this spring.
